Day 1 - 4
La Paz is known as "the city that touches the sky". Explore the city and the nearby valley of the moons before enjoying an overnight catamaran cruise on Lake Titicaca. Sail to Sun Island, the legendary birth place of the Inca Empire, where you will spend time exploring the island and interacting with the local communities that live there.
Day 5 - 9
Discover Sucre, Bolivia’s most beautiful city, and the symbolic heart of the nation. Visit the Yampara Community, one of the most ancient cultures of the continent, before arriving to Potosi, a city with an amazing past. Potosi was once the richest city in the world after the discovery of vast amounts of silver in the Cerro Rico Mountain that towers above the town. You will explore this fascinating city and the silver mine.
Day 10 - 13
Head off across the vast Uyuni Salt Flats to explore this unique eco-system. Driving across the altiplano you will enter the National Reserve of Andean Fauna Eduardo Avaroa to visit the Red Lagoon, the Green Lagoon and Sol de Mañana (morning sun) whilst appreciating the fumes, geysers and volcanic holes. This landscape reminds us of the origins of the earth. After this return by train to La Paz.
